George Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American man, died on Monday after being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by a police officer’s knee, in an incident that was recorded on video, and that incited large protests in Minneapolis on Tuesday and Wednesday.

4 members of the Minneapolis Police Division, Saint Paul, USA have been fired over the death of a black man who was taken into custody and seen on video being pinned down by his neck.
Footage reveals the person, George Floyd, 46, groaning and repeatedly saying “I am unable to breathe” to the white officer. The incident echoed that of Eric Garner, a black man who died being arrested in New York Metropolis in 2014.
Ever since #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd has been trending on social media with individuals commenting on how racism remains to be inherent within the US. The video of George’s alleged manhandling by cops has sparked a nationwide outcry from politicians and members of the general public who’ve known as for the law enforcement officials concerned to be held accountable.
