Esra Bilgic, who plays Halima Sultan in Ertugrul, won hearts and minds of Pakistani fans after airing of the eminent Turkish series “Resurrection Ertugrul” on Pakistani state TV (PTV).
The actress also won the hearts of Pakistani fans in 2018 as well when she lashed out at famous Indian actress, Priyanka Chopra, for war mongering tweets after Indian Air Force attack on Pakistan.
However, Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has hinted that he is trying to appoint Turkish actors from 'Dirilis: Ertugrul' as brand ambassadors for his Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise.
Taking to Twitter, Afridi asked what if Ertugrul Ghazi joins Peshawar Zalmi as a brand ambassador.
In another tweet, he said in all caps: "What if we offer to #HalimeSultan as well?" referring to the Turkish actress Esra Bilgic who plays the character of Halime in 'Dirilis: Ertugrul'.
