June turns bloodiest for kashmir, two more kashmiri freedom fighters martyred.

Two Kashmiri freedom fighters were martyred in a gunfight that broke out between  freedom fighters  and Indian government forces in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday morning

A police official said that two rebels were killed in a brief exchange of fire, while a search operation is on in the area.

Inspector-General of Police Vijay Kumar said that two rebels were killed in Bandzoo Pulwama while as search operation is underway in the area.

Earlier an Indian defense official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 55 RR, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of Kashmiri freedom fighters in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding rebels fired upon them which was retaliated triggering a gunfight.

Penitently this is 11th encounter in South Kashmir in the month of June in which so far 30 Kashmiri freedom fighters have been martyred. 

Meanwhile, internet facilities have been suspended in kulgam district.
