Indian army martyred 2 Kashmiri youth in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night said that two militants were killed by the security forces. 

In a brief statement on Twitter, a police spokesman said the militants were shot dead in a brief encounter.

Inspector general of police, Vinay Kumar said that the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of some militants.

 The police official claimed that these youth were militants and were killed in an encounter.

This operation based on a credible police input was launched Friday evening. Two militants have been reportedly killed,” spokesman added.

 Army official told news that two militants who were travelling in a car, were stopped near a naka laid by the police and the army at Kharpora, Arwani in Bijbehera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. “The militants, however fired at the police naka and tried to flee. They were killed in a brief shootout,” 

In the exchange of firing, a police man also sustained injuries and was taken to nearby medical facility for treatment.

The identification of the slain was not ascertained.

Meanwhile, 2G mobile internet services were also snapped in Shopian and Anantnag district late Friday evening soon after the gunfight commenced.
